In November of 2009, in cooperation with the Brothers of the Community of Charity and Social Services, 
VDS established the Lavang Boarding House for men college students in Saigon. Currently there are 16 young men studying in Saigon for various degrees.  These students come from low income farming families in need of housing and financial assistance to pursue their college dream.
